Cleaning the Pipe

We first clean the damaged sewer line to remove old scale, rust and other debris. We access the pipe through a single access point, also called the cleanout hole. We do this step during trenchless sewer repair services because when your lines are clogged with waste, determining the exact pipe diameter can be challenging, and the liner might not be able to be inserted along the pipe properly.

Conducting a Detailed Camera Inspection

If possible, we make it a point to perform a detailed camera inspection prior to trenchless pipe lining so we can assess the plumbing system. This allows us to locate any leaks, damage, pipe clogs and to measure the length of the pipe. This step helps us identify the problem and its location and determine whether you need to repair or replace sewer line.

Preparing the Materials

Next, we cut pipe lining material to the exact length and place the corresponding amount of resin for the liner. We use a heavy roller to push the resin throughout the interior surface of the lining material until it becomes completely saturated.

Pulling the Liner Through the Pipe

For an effective sewer line replacement, we insert an uninflated bladder inside the pipe liner. We then attach a cable to both ends of the liner, which we use to secure the liner into place by using the access point to your plumbing system.

Using the attached ropes our technicians pull the uninflated bladder and felt liner into place inside your pipes. Next, we fill the bladder with air that blows out the liner to seal against the interior surfaces of the existing pipes, forming a new line free of cracks or breaks. We leave the bladder inflated until the resin cures. We then deflate the bladder and remove it from the sewer line, leaving you with a leak-free pipe.

Final Sewer Camera Inspection

The last step is another inspection to check the outcome of our sewer pipe line repair. This will allow us to confirm that everything is in place and in perfect condition.
